About the role
You’ll join a small, senior product engineering team that ships revenue-critical systems for BFSI and enterprise clients. We value crisp thinking, clean code and the ability to reason about ambiguity — both technical and commercial. This is a hands-on role: you will write code every day, review pull requests, mentor engineers and speak directly with client stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Design, build and operate resilient services in TypeScript, Node.js and Python across cloud-native environments.
- Lead technical discovery with client architects and translate business goals into implementation roadmaps.
- Own delivery quality — code review, performance, observability, on-call and incident response.
- Mentor mid-level engineers and set the bar for engineering craft on your pod.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years shipping production software with modern TypeScript / Node.js and at least one strongly-typed backend stack.
- Deep experience with relational databases, event-driven systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure).
- Comfortable operating in regulated environments — you understand why change management, audits and SLAs matter.
- Strong written and verbal communication; you can defend a design in front of a CTO.
Nice to have
- Prior experience delivering to BFSI, healthcare or public-sector clients.
- Exposure to AI/ML integration patterns, vector databases or LLM tool-use.
- Open-source contributions or published technical writing.
